Sue has successfully provided speech pathology services to people of the NSW Central Coast and beyond for over 35 years. As well as treating a general paediatric and adult caseload, she has a special interest in Adult and Paediatric Voice Disorders. Sue now provides tele-health services in these areas.
Sue has been a Conjoint Fellow with the University of Newcastle since 2007. In 2008 she became a founding director of Trinh Foundation Australia Ltd, (TFA) which is an honorary position and is still current. TFA’s mission is to assist the Vietnamese people to establish speech therapy services in their country through establishing formalized training programs. www.trinhfoundation.org
Sue is Member of Speech Pathology Australia, (SPA), Membership No.: 4589. She is affiliated with the Private Practitioner Member Network SPA and the Working In Developing Communities Member Network, SPA.
In 2011, Sue received the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Sydney, Alumni Award for International Achievement (2011).
In 2013 Sue was awarded the prestigious Elinor Wray Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Profession of Speech Pathology by Speech Pathology Australia.
In 2014, Sue received the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Award for Services to assist in the development of Speech Therapy in Vietnam.
Sue is currently on the UTS Industry Advisory Board for Speech Pathology.
